Gingerbread Carving
This is the most ancient form of woodcarving. Known preserved boards dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. Wooden forms of gingerbread boards were used for making festive kiln gingerbread.

Woodcarving of such boards for the most part has large-cut inscriptions on all four sides. An amusing relief pattern was created in the center. Making gingerbread boards entrusted to the best masters.
